Later I came across which you can't simply post link in anticipation of having something substantial to add to the post. So, if you are thinking of the same then drop the thought as it won't require anywhere.
2. Invite People by Subscriber list
This is my another failed attempt to get Facebook likes. As you all has to be realizing that Facebook allows to ask people by sending invites via contact list.
So, things i did was that I have a subscriber list of about 9000 different mail IDs and out of these 9000 IDs 3500 were already present on Facebook I sent the invites to all or any these folks and not one of them not even an individual liked my page.
I don't know whether I wasn't able to utilize the list intelligently or perhaps the people I sent request to wasn't thinking about what I'm blogging. Therefore, in case you are wanting to do that same task, I am going to advice explore to do that since you will be just costing you time.
3. Posting Link on Popular Facebook Pages
This can be my third failed attempt when you get Facebook likes, things i did was I posted my Facebook page link on popular Facebook pages which has over 2-3 million likes. This hadn't do me a bit of good plus I keep getting messages from visitors to like their page. So, again in case you are considering doing the same I advice you not to, as you will just be costing you time.
