In addition they do not get hot, therefore the electricity they use isn't squandered plus they create far less CO2.

Swift Cycles

LED's are ideal in areas where lights have to be changed on and off quickly and may be used in security gear, freezer lockers and interior lorries or trucks. LED's are unaffected by temperature and offer a directional light that will not change the colour of what is illuminated, so they work very efficiently in shops and super markets.

Jolt Resistant

Unlike fragile fluorescent and incandescent lightbulbs, LIGHT emitting diode lights are immune to vibrations and shock and do not burn out abruptly. They don't have any fragile tubes or filaments within them and are robustly made so they could defy being knocked or slammed.

Low Temperature

LED's do not get hot which makes then ideal to be used in places where other kinds of light might propose a fire risk or trigger damage. For example normal lightbulbs can scorch illuminated crops as well as blossoms in gardens, although they might create a fire set inside wardrobes or overly near to things like rugs and drapes.
